In seeking God and asking for wisdom in how to pray for the war in Iraq, we believe we are to rise up in the Spirit and wrestle with principalities and powers of darkness that are set over that area and against the Coalition and against the citizens of Iraq. This is for those who have asked us what God is revealing to us. Only join us in this if you are led by the Spirit of God to do so. We are reminded of Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." So, for us and those who are led by the Spirit of God to engage in spiritual warfare, we remember Ephesians 1:19-22 ..."and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church."
