Draw close to Me. Let us be one, with no separation or division between us. My desire is that your heart and mind would come into complete unity with Me, says the Lord, for this is the place of absolute righteousness and peace. You can choose to position yourself to be in this perfect union so that you are never in opposition to My will.
John 17:21 That they all may be one, as you, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
Be ready to respond to My slightest direction. The changes that are forthcoming will first take place in the spirit. Resist the temptation to charge off hastily and make changes in the physical realm in an effort to satisfy your discontentment, for there are things that must be established spiritually first. Let your restlessness find fulfillment in drawing close to Me. Listen intently for My wisdom, and yield to My leading. I will certainly go before you to prepare the way. Be content with such as you have, and trust Me with all that you need. Meet your tests of faith with assurance and the reality of My word and My will to supply what is lacking. Wait patiently and be renewed in strength and endurance, for you will not be disappointed.
I see your heart, and I know that you are feeling odd and out of place. Nothing seems to fit. And, the enemy is taking advantage of this time to tempt you into extreme selfexamination and condemnation; he will do his utmost to instill fear and convince you that you have failed and will continue to fail. Do not believe him, for what you are feeling is the stirring of My Spirit to dislodge you from places of comfort that will keep you from moving forward. I have new things for you to experience, and just like the eagle who stirs up her nest to prepare her eaglets to fly, I am stirring up your nest to create discomfort so that you will be all the more willing to rise to new heights spiritually. What you are sensing is divine discontentment that will cause you to seek Me earnestly for direction in taking the next step. So, rise up into the spirit realm and behold My face and receive wisdom.
Examine the places of disagreement in your own heart, and answer these
questions: What is the issue? Are you contending earnestly for the faith or are you on a quest to
fulfill your own desires and lusts? Is this disagreement worth pursuing? Are you willing to accept
the outcome, which will be separation and division? The decisions that you make today will
determine the seeds that you sow and the harvest you will reap. I say, guard your heart with all
diligence for out of it spring the issues of life.
(Proverbs 4:23). Maintain eternal perspective, and
make a clear distinction between the trivial and that which is worthy of debate. Keep your focus
clearly on the kingdom of God, and set your heart on righteousness.
Set a watch for defilement of flesh and spirit through bitterness. I say again, set a watch not only over your mouth but over your heart so that you neither harbor bitterness nor speak of it. Now is the time to be completely set free from all past pain. Release yourselves from memories of rejection and hurt. Step into a new day, a new beginning, by forgiving those who have maligned you and despitefully used you. Move in the realm of the Spirit, and rise above all that has been a source of suffering. Also guard yourself against the bitterness of others; you can be compassionate without being vulnerable.
