Clap your hand over your mouth, and set a watch over your words. Do not become a
fool by allowing selfrighteousness and pride to emanate from your heart. Be diligent to restrain
opinions and judgments that arise out of bitterness of soul, for they will defile yourself and others.
You would be wise to deal honestly with the issues of your heart and then learn to bridle your
tongue. Take every opportunity to shut up before it is too late.
Psalm 39:1 I said, "I will guard my ways, lest I sin with my tongue; I will restrain my mouth with a
muzzle, while the wicked are before me."
Proverbs 4:2324 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away
from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.
