2 Thessalonians 2:1­3 "Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letters, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition." Beloved, these are days of great apostasy when many will turn from serving the Living God to fulfill their own lusts and desires. Do not allow this to trouble you or bring you down to sorrow, for they have the gift of freedom to choose their course of action. They have heard the truth and yet have turned back as a dog returns to its vomit. Now is the time to examine your own heart and be diligent in following divine purpose. Continue on the course of righteousness that you might be light in the darkness, a pillar in the kingdom of your God, says the Lord.
