I will show you things that you need to recognize from the past; things that will reveal a need for correction. But, you must not dwell on times of rejection and reproach, which could cause you to lose heart. Rather, review difficult times objectively with an eye to make adjustments and then move on. This is an opportunity for freedom and greater spiritual strength. Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
